An impressive period piece from the late 1940’s and early 1950’s.
This LeCoultre wristwatch, is fitted with a Vacheron Constantin (signed VXN) bumper automatic movement, as it was manufactured during the period when they were partners in wristwatch manufacturing. The Caliber 12A movement was just serviced and is keeping excellent time. The glossy black dial signed LeCoultre was recently restored and is outstanding with the silver Arabic numerals.
The stainless steel case is signed LeCoultre Swiss as opposed to the later models cased in the US to avoid duty. The watch measures 33mm wide by 42mm long.
