A vintage Tudor Submariner treasure trove for any Tudor collector. This vintage Submariner, model 7928 comes with the original box and papers as well as the box hang tag. I have never been able to find the hang tag still with this model before and adds a bit of insight into the watch including the original price when sold! The papers only include the serial number and not the date sold, however the caseback is stamped with a date of 1962 as a production date. The all original dial features a high gloss black surface with an inner chapter ring. Of particular note is the highly prized, luminous dot under the 6 o’clock marker, now referred to as the “exclamation mark dial”. Also note the original gilt hands set with the large dot seconds hand. The stainless steel case is in excellent condition and features another highly prized feature, pointed crown guards. The crown has been changed at some point to a Triplock model. Also note the high dome original crystal still installed on the watch! The bezel is the original model which as faded to a grey tone. As the watch does not have a bracelet with it, I have decided to sell the watch with a grey NATO style one piece strap that is virtually the same color as the bezel. It is a very complimentary look. The Tudor caliber 390 movement was recently serviced by my watchmaker and is keeping excellent time. The watch measures 40 mm wide by 48 mm long. I have not seen as complete a package for a Vintage Tudor Sub since I started the website.
