A very stylish case with an uncommon automatic movement.

The dramatic sloped lugs of this case make this watch one of the more attractive vintage pieces we have for sale. The entire case has a scalloped channel around the crystal.The side profile view of this watch gives you a clear indication of the high style contained in its design.

The original 2 tone dial is configured in a checker-board pattern with 2 quadrants in a beige colour and the other 2 are a reflective silver. The dial is marked Gruen Precision and is marked Autowind above the subseconds register. 

The 10K gold filled case, which is signed Gruen and Wadsworth, is in good condition with no wear through the gold capping and only one slight scratch on the caseback that is not visible on the wrist.

The movement fitted in the watch is a 17 jewel automatic calibre 480ss movement, which was just serviced and is keeping good time.

The watch measures 25mm wide by 39mm long and is supplied on a brand new padded brown leather strap.
