Vintage Rolex dress watch in exotic pink gold case.

Long Description:

Highly unusual Rolex dress model with a solid 14 karat rose gold top and stainless steel back. The over sized case, reference number 4399, features the highly desirable crab shaped lugs that are sought after by collectors of watches from the 1940's and 50's.

The serial number 311,xxx dates the watch to 1944.

The watch was just fully serviced and the 17 jewel Rolex manual wind movement was fully overhauled by my Rolex trained watchmaker. The white dial with large sub-seconds register was also fully restored at the time of service.

The watch provides an extra sense of style from a manufacturer more known for "tool" watches that focus on durability, that being said the 10 1/2 hunter movement in this watch was one of the most durable movements ever made by Rolex.

The watch measures 35mm wide by 42mm long and is supplied on a brand new leather strap.
