Long Description:

A classic vintage Tudor watch up for sale. This vintage Tudor features all the charm that these rugged Oyster watches have become famous for. The watch appears to date to the early 1970's based on the dial configuration and movement used.

The case is the legendary Rolex Oyster case used by Tudor and then fitted with the Rolex modified ETA calibre 2484, automatic movement. You will notice that the all original dial is marked as an Oyster Prince, which is Rolex nomenclature for indicating that the Oyster watch is fitted with an automatic movement instead of a manual wind unit.

The date indicator is the vintage non-quickset variety. Please note the original and genuine Rolex Oyster crown fitted to the watch which screws down tight. Although the watch has been tested water resistant we do not include water resistance as part of our warranty.

The watch, which measures 34.5 mm wide by 41 mm long, carries a case reference of 7996/0 and comes fully serviced by my Rolex trained watchmaker.
