Long Description:
This spectacular vintage Vacheron Constantin watch really should not need any description. The visual appeal of the highly stylized larger solid gold case had me sold on the watch the minute I saw it in another dealers showcase 10 years ago. Since then it has been in my private collection.

Since owning the watch, I have had the dial restored to as original condition and given my watchmaker the task of servicing the movement.

The watch is fitted with the legendary manual wind Vacheron Constantin Calibre V453. The movement is impeccably finished and is adjusted to temperature variations also. Note the level of finish on the wonderful movement and the large swan-neck micro regulator adjustment on the balance.

The serial number of the movement dates the watch to circa 1943.

The watch measures 34 mm wide excluding the crown by 42 mm long and is supplied on the buyers choice of black or brown leather strap.
