An unusually thin Audemars Piguet wristwatch in solid 18-karat white gold.
This watch is so thin that you would assume that it contained a quartz movement; it is however fitted with the Vacheron Constantin Deuxieme movement considered the thinnest mechanical movement when it was produced in the late 1960’s. The Deuxieme nickname was derived from the 2mm thickness of the 17-jewel movement, which is adjusted, to temperature and 4 positions.
The dial is a model of simple elegance with long black stick markers on a flat white dial. The watch was just serviced and keeps excellent time.
The watch measures 32mm wide by 36mm long and is supplied on a new croco grain leather strap.
