A Gallet Flying Officer World Time Chronograph from the late 1960s. It is fitted with a Landeron 149 movement and was just serviced at Gallet.
The watch is light-faced and has beautiful patina. There it tritium lume on the 1-12. The bezel was just replaced with a new old stock bezel from Gallet, like the original with the red 12 on it. It also has a new old stock crown that was just installed.
The minute register tabulates to 45 minutes, which is a rare feature.
The dial is all correct and has “GALLET” printed in small letters below the 12 PM. Later Flying Officers used a more modern Gallet logo and said FLYING OFFICER on the lower part of the dial.
I should add that Gallet has introduced their new Flight Officer at BaselWorld, so interest in this watch and the brand is picking up.
The case measures 37 x 45 x 12.4mm and is fitted with a screw back.
