The first Hamilton Snoopy watch I have seen.
The dial on this unusual watch appears 100% original and features the Charles Shultz character, Snoopy from the Peanuts cartoon.
The case is 10 karat gold filled and features stylized curved lugs which along with the rest of the case are in great shape. The caseback does have a very light personal engraving on it which is not noticed while on the wrist and is barley noticeable when examined. The watch is fitted with a 17 jewel Hamilton automatic movement, caliber 661, which was just fully serviced and is keeping excellent time.
Unlike other character watches I have encountered, this watch is hardly a toy made for children, this is a high grade timepiece with an unusual dial. Given the copyright issues, I wonder if this was a limited production for the staff involved with the Peanuts cartoon production?
The watch measures 33mmm wide by 41mm long and is supplied on a new brown leather strap.
