This is a very large Omega Seamaster from 1950. Typically the vintage models from Omega are 34.5 mm or slightly smaller, however this watch measures in at 37 mm wide.
To add to the appeal, the watch features elongated turtle lugs that rise up and roll forward. Overall a truly spectacular case profile and dramatically different than most you will see in the marketplace.
The watch features a large textured dial with a thin steel bezel, which only makes the watch seen larger than it is. The restored dial is set with pyramid shaped hour markers and a large sub-seconds register. The hands and hour markers are pink gold coloured.
The Omega bumper automatic calibre movement 342 was just serviced by my watchmaker and keeps great time. The original Omega signed crown is still fitted to the watch.
As mentioned earlier, the case measures 37 mm wide but is also 45 mm long from the tips of the elongated lugs. The case including crystal is 11 mm thick.
