This ladies Bulova Accutron is the only example of a ladies Accutron using a tuning fork movement that I have owned in 12 years.
The watch was just serviced by my watchmaker and had a new battery replaced. The watch is keeping great time.
The case has 4 angled surfaces on the top with quadrant dividers. There is a brushed finish applied to the flat surfaces.
The case has a generic engraving on the back for the original owners initials. According to the date code on the back the watch it dates to 1972.
One unusual feature of the watch is the red date disc located at the 6 o’clock position.
The watch measures 24 mm wide excluding the signed Bulova crown and 31 mm long. The watch is currently fitted to a period correct expansion bracelet but can be fitted to a leather strap if the buyer wishes.
