A wonderful oversized Sporty watch from the late 1960’s – early 1970’s.
The Tissot brand was at this time the sub brand of Omega, much the same way that Tudor exists as the sub brand of Rolex. Tissot has had a long and storied past predating it’s involvement with Omega.
The oversized stainless steel cushion case makes a dominating statement on the wrist and the presence of an inner rotating bezel and a second winding crown to control it adds to the sporty appearance of the watch.
The Tissot automatic 21 jewel movement was serviced by the Tissot dealer prior to my purchase of the watch and it is running flawlessly.
The watch is supplied in the Tissot presentation box I bought it in, I am not sure if it was the original box it was sold in but it was bought from an authorized Tissot dealer who took it in on trade.
The watch is supplied on a period correct solid stainless steel link bracelet. The watch head measures 42mm by 49mm long.
