A clean Heuer vintage chronograph from the late 1960’s featuring the rare GMT 24 hour dual timezone function.
The case is the very desirable round shape with traditional lugs. The rotating steel bezel is graduated into typical day and night sections split at 6 am and 6 pm. The bezel is in unusually clean condition with a metallic red and blue tone.
Please note the original scalloped Heuer pushers and original signed crown.
The original black dial is in excellent condition with warmly toned patina that has aged evenly adding a nice vintage look.
The Valjoux manual wind calibre 724 is a variation of the highly sought after Valjoux 72 movement found in vintage Rolex chronographs. The movement was just serviced and is keeping excellent time with all chronograph functions performing flawlessly.
The watch measures 41 mm wide by 48 mm long and is supplied on the original factory leather perforated strap and Heuer steel buckle. The strap is original and has one small spot of flaking and should really be put away for collecting purposes, as such I will supply a high grade leather strap with the watch also.
