A stunning vintage Omega Constellation wrist-watch from the 1950’s. The watch dates to 1954 based on the serial number of the movement in the 14 million range.
The case features a reference number of 2782-6SC and is gold capped on the case top with a solid stainless steel back. Note the elegant curve to the tapered lugs. The watch is fitted with a 17 jewel chronometer grade Omega calibre 354 movement, which is adjusted to 5 positions. The watch was just serviced and is keeping great time.
The all original dial is the most appealing feature of the watch, with its textured 2 tone pattern and large gold arrowhead markers. This watch is what started the love affair with the Omega Constellation. Another bonus is the brand new old stock original style Omega Constellation 10 sided crown.
The watch is in good condition overall with some wear to the Constellation Observatory logo on the caseback, but that is not unusual as the watch is over 50 years old!
The watch measures 35 mm wide by 41 mm long and can be supplied on either a new black or brown calf leather strap.
