This vintage Omega Seamaster watch is attached to a very unusual mesh bracelet. The watch features a solid stainless steel case and original dial which is signed Omega Seamaster. The watch is still fitted with the original dauphine hands used during this period of the company’s history.
The manual wind Omega movement, caliber 520 was just serviced by my watchmaker and it keeping great time. Its serial number dates the watch to 1960. Note the micro adjustable swan’s neck regulator over the balance on this high grade movement. The reference number 14722-1 puts it in the same realm as the early Seamaster 300’s and Omega Railmasters made during this time. The watch is supplied on a mesh bracelet with a signed Omega buckle. The bracelet appears to be a custom retrofit using a genuine Omega buckle. It is a rather attractive accessory and I have elected to sell the watch as I have it.
The case measures 33.5 mm wide by 41 mm long excluding the winding crown width.
