A classic vintage Tudor Oyster prince with an original eggshell coloured dial and interesting dagger shaped hour markers, dating to 1961.
The dial has the now famous Arabic numbers at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 similar to the Tudor Ranger and its well heeled cousin, the Rolex Explorer. The small rose Tudor logo is another attractive feature for collectors. Combine these features with the vintage dauphine hands, applied steel dagger shaped hour markers and the curved self-winding script and you have a combination of vintage styling features I have not encountered before on a single dial. There is slight patina on the dial but overall the appeal is tremendous.
The Oyster case is in good condition with all the rugged appeal made famous by Rolex over the years.
The watch is fitted with a 25 jewel Rolex modified Eta movement, which was just serviced by my Rolex trained watchmaker.
The watch measures 34 mm wide by 41 mm long and is supplied on your choice of a black or brown leather strap.
