A nice large vintage Ulysse Nardin with a 36,00 bph movement.
This vintage watch dates to the 1970’s based on the case design and the movement used in the watch.
The large steel case has the traditional tonneau shape associated with watches manufactured in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. The case also features a heavy steel screw down back.
The movement fitted in the watch is the 25 jewel automatic Ulysse Nardin N11MM movement, which is a modified version of an ETA 2824 supplied movement. The biggest difference is the change in the beat frequency from 28,800 up to 36,000. This is generally regarded as a move to increase accuracy and reduce positional variation of the movement.
The watch has a restored gold coloured dial with large gold coloured hour markers and a Day and Date windows.
The watch was just serviced and is keeping excellent time.
The steel case measures 35 mm wide by 40 mm long and is supplied on a new leather strap.
